Meet Anne
The proud product of public schools in Ohio, Anne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She moved to Los Angeles following graduation, working in advertising, publishing, and marketing communications before founding her own company, Information Architect, providing writing, editing, and marketing services to the health care and technology industries, while also teaching communications classes in the UCLA Extension program. In 1989, she formed a new company with her husband, Rick McGuire: Health & Medical Multimedia, which specializes in educational and training programs for physicians and health care professionals around the globe. Anne also provides strategic planning services to small and medium-sized businesses.
The company and family moved to Arizona in 1994 and one year later, her oldest son started kindergarten at Copper Canyon Elementary School, and Anne started volunteering in PVUSD practically from the first bell. Since then, she has been active in her children's schools, on numerous district committees, and within United Parent Council. She was first elected to the PVUSD Governing Board in 2004, and re-elected in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.
